4/5 ⭐️ This was such a beautiful and well-written family saga! I loved all of the characters so much and I just felt so connected to them. I was very invested in their lives. And the love between the parents, Marilyn and David?!? Oh their romance had me swooning 🥹. They were so sweet together! He was a virgin when they met and he never slept with anyone else but her for his entire life🥺. Even after 40 years of marriage they were still so in love with each other! David and Marilyn were such loving and amazing parents too. They weren’t perfect but they were present and they love their children more than anything. Seeing how close of a relationship the girls had with David, made me think about my own relationship with my own dad, and how I wish it was more like theirs 😭.

If you love character-driven books that focuses on families, marriage, and parenthood, then I highly recommend this one! It was a very heartwarming read.

I do think that it could have been a bit shorter. It is literally about 600 pages long lol 😆

“The thing that nobody warned you about adulthood was the number of decisions you’d have to make, the number of times you’d have to depend on an unreliable gut to point you in the right direction, the number of times you’d still feel like an eight-year-old, waiting for your parents to step in and save you from peril.

⋆˙⟡ˡ✨ is this a family saga but like in one book? sounds so interesting! 💫🦋🪷🌳🫧🫀

RLbooks (in and out) So glad you found a heartwarming read! Family sagas can be so fascinating but they so often have such negative relationships for the parents, good for this one not going that route!

Anna This family sounds perfect and l wonder if there was any conflict in the plot.
I love the cover as nowadays the majority of books covers depict male torsos, so this cover is like a breath of fresh air to me.
I am glad you liked it so much!!!
