: ̗̀� the reappearance of rachel price is an addicting, plot-twisty, and thrilling book!! i really liked it and finished it in a day, i’m a sucker for murder/mystery books and this did it for me☺️☺️ oh and p.s. i LOVED ash, he was so cute with bel!!!
: ̗̀� the reason for the low(ish) rating was because of a few things :
- my expectations were too high and i loved the main plot, but it’s execution wasn’t the best
- some chapters were unnecessary and lengthy, the middle of the book was a little boring (IM SORRY YALL PLS DON’T HURT ME😔)
- i didn’t really love bel, i think she was relatable but frustrated me sometimes, i totally get her though
- a review that was not marked for spoilers spoiled some of it 😣😣 i think i would have loved it more if i didn’t partially expect the ending, guys please please make sure to mark spoilers!!🙏🙏
: ̗̀� but i definitely recommend it if you’ve loved holly jackson’s previous works and if you generally like mystery thrillers!💓

@iris i’m scared i’m being too harsh because i love holly jackson but i think you will love this book if you do NOT get spoiled at all and have not too high expectations
