Tate and Jared are neighbours and they were best friends...
One summer..Jared turned on Tate!He began to bully her..Spreading vicious rumours,humiliating her..Time passed and things get worst..
“What was worse than losing you was when you started to hurt me. Your words and actions made me hate coming to school. They made me uncomfortable in my own home.�
Tate comes back for her senior from France..But coming home she's tired of being afraid and being a coward and letting him control her life.She takes her best friend K.C.'s advice and decides it's time to start fighting back!!
“Do you know what this is?� I took my middle finger and patted the corner of my eye with it. “It’s me, wiping away the last tear you’ll get.�
Jared is a complicated character.He is an arrogant playboy.At first Jared was jerk but when you learn more about him..you see that he is so sweet and charming.
I really liked seeing Tate's transition from being an introvert to someone who could completely hold her ground.I love the way she made sure no one messed with her.I thought she did an amazing job standing up for herself.
The sexual contents were more a borderline adult than YA and I liked that!

He kissed the corners of my mouth softly, and I felt heat rise up my neck. “Always have been,�
