5 HUGE Asshole Stars
I REALLY enjoyed this book.
Now, I know bullying is a serious and highly sensitive issue. And I'm not downplaying that or tying to make light of that.
I am speaking about this strictly as a 30-something, non-impressionable ADULT reading a work of complete fucking fiction.
So I'm not going to get into any social commentary regarding this books portrayal of bullying and all its evil.

My review is from an entertainment (aka how "un-put-downable" was it?) standpoint only.
And this shit floated, people.
In other words, I was totally absorbed - aka otherwise rendered completely useless in my normal life until I finished this story.
Jared was such a magnetic character.
And I loved him. He was mysterious and alpha and a TOTAL ASSHOLE. And I'm always a sucker for those traits. I also really loved the idea of he and Tate being best friends as kids. Because what little girl doesn't dream of having that with the cute boy next door? I loved their push/pull, I FELT their connection, and I just really loved Jared.
Oops, I already said that.
My bad!
Anyway, I'm definitely looking forward to more from this author.

I read really fast. And I'm ALWAYS reading multiple books at once.

Agree, Ramona. I've actually read pretty much all her books. This is an old review, I'm just re-reading it, but thank you! <3

Agree with Mojo_mama tho, would definitely like it more if he was a little (ok a lot) less of a doormat

Thanks Paki :)

Awww, thanks my love!

Thanks Angela :)

Glad you enjoyed it, Reka.

Awwww, thanks Madina! <3

Thanks Susan. And well said, especially the part about being "non-impressionable." Super important caveat here.

Happy to hear that :)

I don’t need to defend myself. This is a book review about a fictional character.
