How the Aliens Were Won series continues to enchant me. Our main characters have gone through so much. Kara is accused of something falsely by the bad guy so she'll sleep with him. So she leaves town fast and finds her way to an abandoned farmstead away from town. It feels like a great place to settle until H'Zim comes in. Guess it wasn't abandoned.
H'zim was falsely accused of a crime and spent several years in prison. He's cranky, a loner and wanting revenge. He wants nothing to do with anyone, especially Kara. But he agrees to let her stay. Why?
Honey writes a very sweet story, with its issues and bad guys and great friends all coming together for a great read. This whole series has been amazing and hopefully Tomlin will get his chance too.
