I love this series. Even though H'zim and Kara get their wonderful HEA ,the book should be read in order to know the other characters and the backstory. The plot thickens with the knowledge Tomlin has about what he thinks is going on. Why H'zim was accused of thief, and his promise of a future favor.
Kara has her own problems, hence her running from town to a deserted house. I loved how H'zim "helped" her with her problem.
I loved how she also helped him if not accept his past at least be able to live with it. She is his beacon of light in his darkness.
Action throughout. I loved how the other characters are helping H'zim with his problems, how his brother S'kal always supports him.
Steam to the romance. I loved the way the mysteries were solved.
Can't wait to read Tomlin's story.
