This book, which perfectly balances romance with just the right amount of mystery, depicts the bittersweet development of a young lady attempting to make sense of her chaotic life. The main character, Lindsey, is a stunning and gifted teacher who is resilient and optimistic in spite of being betrayed by her ideal partner and having her dog taken. This doesn't end here; she starts getting strange, ominous phone calls. Men find her even though she doesn't want to be alone and isn't ready to look for new love. She meets a new guy in this way who expresses interest in her.

Her life, her situations, and her emotions will keep you hooked on the story. Although the start of the brief introduction and laying the foundation of the scenario is a bit slow, it gets more and more interesting with each page. I was glued to her life until I put the book down. I can vouch for a drama-filled read this time.
