I haven’t read much fantasy recently but have enjoyed many of Ursula K. Le Guin’s works, so I rolled the dice, and she did not disappoint with this tale of Ged, a true-born wizard, and his harrowing journey.
The build was slow, but when dragons made their entrance around the halfway point, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough —my hands were a blur.
A Wizard of Earthsea is a magical romp across enchanted lands and blackened seas to find one wizard’s truth - and maybe his redemption...

A classic for me to read soon and I have several of Ursula's other hardcovers and softcovers to sample.

Thank you, Kimber. I am into "Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants" comfort reading for awhile. My Dad just went to Heaven the other day. I announced it in a few places but know people with a lot of contact traffic can't see most updates. Thank goodness for friends and books keeping me at peace and grounded. Xoxo, Carolyn.
