Definitely new - ie to me.
Thanks so much for sharing this Seth. I have read both and see the similarity of themes...your 'surface v depth.....' etc. I hadn't consciously linked these two books. I now want to re-read both of them. That will be no hardship as they are two of my favourite writers. Only lack of time and my mountain of unread books will get in the way of doing it.
I should have said Masterly.
