well, this was my first book categorized as horror, and I have to say I enjoyed this but I wasn’t scared, just mildly creeped out at some points. I have to add that I’m a scary cat, so if this didn’t scare me, it’s not scary at all.

�� plot:

We follow our newly married couple, Eddie Carter and April Carter, both of them with secrets to hide. On their way to the honeymoon, they get lost and end up on Atticus Lane, where they find an injured woman who dies on their car when they try to help her. They became murder suspects and have to stay on the town, where weird things happen.

�� my thoughts:

I never really dwell in the characters on thriller books, since I feel like explaining them can end up in unintentional spoilers, but I have to say I liked our main couple and characters.

The pace started amazing, but it slows down a bit and it got a little repetitive. Over all an enjoyable read, perfect if you want a non very scary horror book with murder mysteries.
