I really enjoyed this. It’s a quick and sexy read with some great characters to get to know and love.

Scarlett, from now on known as Scar, is our heroine. She’s a girl that’s taken a few knocks but is now standing on her own two feet (in kickass stilettos) and running her own tattoo parlour. She’s gorgeous, sassy, feisty, fiercely independent and is not looking for love and commitment. No way, no how!!

And one day, in walks Mace. Mace is the military brother of her colleague and fellow tattooist Trip who has just quit the Forces and is back in town to make a new life for himself. He’s tall, brooding, smokin� hot and covered in tattoos. He and Scar can hardly keep their eyes (or their hands) off each other once they meet and they soon start dating.

I loved it � Mace has got a bit of Kristen Ashley Hero vibe going on. He’s very ALPHA, very possessive, fiercely protective, sexy as all get out and very into his woman. He’s just about everything that I want in a hero. Scar is a really strong heroine, very feisty and is absolutely not going to take any crap from Mace and will scream and yell at him whenever she’s pissed at him. Which is often. But just wait for the freakin� hot make-up sex!! Yes, this is red hot erotic romance � Mace is a talented guy and this is seriously hot, pantie-combusting erotic romance and it’s only Lola Stark’s debut novel. I’m very much looking forward to more from her.

If I have any complaints, think I would have preferred this to be at least 50 pages longer to better get to understand Scar’s hang-ups which weren't fully explored and for more explanation of the incident that fucked up Mace in the military.
