I’m new to this author, since I haven’t yet read the Thursday Murder Club series. On my list!

Amy Wheeler works as private security, guarding the rich/famous who have safety concerns. She’s currently on a remote island with renowned author and glamorous Rosie D’Antonio. Rosie wrote something negative about a Russian mobster (?) and he is seeking revenge. When there is an attempted killing though, the target appears to be Amy.

They are soon on the run, though in style with the use of Rosie’s private plane. Amy pulls in her father in law, who is retired but still does some investigative work. More dead bodies occur, and they’re all people Amy has previously protected. Who is trying to set her up? There are numerous possibilities.

They hop all over the globe trying to find answers and trying to stay a step ahead of those trying to kill them. However, there’s lots of fun as they try to figure out the clues. Interesting characters - a lot actually, I lost track of who was who with some of the supporting characters. But overall an interesting and fun read/listen. Looking forward to future installments in this new series, and in checking out the Thursday Murder Club series.
