This one is at the same time similar and totally different from the first book!

Similar because we have a strong heroine, who's capable and no-nonsense. Who's strong and capable, but at the same time rational and intelligent.

Totally different because in the first book we had a complicated situation with some interesting political games, while here the we don't have almost none of this, but much more the building os a family relationship.

Yes, there's some skirmishing because she's human, but more is about how they'll overcome that between themselves.

I liked that both Rhydian and Delaney were outspoken and sicussed their problems in a honest way trying to understand each other's point of view. They speak, they don't suppose! And the's great!

Kathleen “They speak so simple but so often left out of relationship novels. Glad you’re enjoying it!

Yes, exactly! I really appreciate when MCs speak to each other instead of suppose (wrongly!)!!!
Actually the authors do that more and I like it! :)
