This powerful and propulsive thriller was dark, brilliantly pacey, flawless, and refreshingly different.
It was also unputdownable and unpredictable.

as well as an unflinching and jaw-dropping portrait of parental pain and revenge.
When author Jack Jordan is good, he is very, very good and this book was very, very good.
I listened to the audiobook read by Joe Coen, Candida Gubbins, and Eric Sigmundsson.
All narrators gave Oscar performances.
One of my besties of 2024.
