this series was such a fun ride and im gonna miss elise & the gang so much🥹 ryder forever remains my #1 fav (i mean seriously that character development??? literally melts my heart) but truly i love all the boys so so much😭 leon's craziness, dante's calmness, gabriel's protectiveness, and ryder's bloodthirstiness !! theyre all so perfect and i love seeing them all happy with elise.

ive practically already fangirled enough over this series in my last 4 reviews but i really love how this last book resolved all loose threads and gave me everything i wanted omg (view spoiler)[1) DANTE AND RYDER GETTING THEIR DIVINE MOMENT WITH ELISE SKDGHS MY HEART THAT WAS EVERYTHING🥹🥹 DANTE AND RYDER BREAKING THEIR ADVERSAL ADVERSARIES BOND HELLO !!!! I WAS ABOUT TO CRY GENUINELY THE WAY THEY BECAME BEST BROS AFTERWARDS LIKE😭😭 MY LOVES.

AND THEN GABE (help leon's got to me too calling him that) GETTING HIS DIVINE MOMENT WITH ELISE AT THE END HELL YEAH🥹 literally its actually so funny tho that he got it last but as it should be considering how confident he was about being the one for elise at first😂 (which i mean yes it was the stars doing but still hilarious!!) super happy for gabriel though he really made me fall madly in love with him these last few books compared to the first 3. love you gabe <3

AND CAN I JUST SCREAM ABOUT THE TATTOOS THEY ALL GOT ON THEMSELVES REPRESENTING THE OTHERS??? CRYING THAT WAS TOO WHOLESOME AND SWEET AND JUST😭 WOW. there were way too many emotional/romantic/wholesome/adorable scenes to keep track of both with elise and the boys and just btwn the boys themselves🥹

also ryder faking his death and getting a new identity!! truly the most perfect solution for being able to live in peace (i spoiled myself that he'd be faking his death so i wasnt surprised by it but DAMN if that whole scene didnt look so real omg😭😭 every time i look at how much ryder has changed from book 1 it genuinely makes me emotional im so happy for him loml🥹 (hide spoiler)] anyways once again there were too many funny scenes (shoutout especially for leon man this guy is hilarious😭 and ryder really shone here too with so many funny scenes omg😂 theyre the best funny duo fr (view spoiler)[the photoshoot??? I DIED. ryder singing hakuna matata???🆘🆘 the fake death pranks😭 and really just their teasing in general omg i loved it (but also another shoutout to that one scene with leon wanting the medallion back from dante (which was originally his) leon was so dramatic about it i genuinely died i could NOT stop laughing oh leon😭😂 (hide spoiler)]) there are seriously so many scenes i want to point out but because there are so many my mind is currently blanking on specifics (also doesnt help that this was like 900 pages (which btw idk why GR says 672 for the OG edition??? like what??? GOODREADS YOURE WRONG so i switched editions to the right page count)) but honestly i dont think ive laughed this much over a series ever?? RB definitely wins there for making me laugh the most and its definitely a much needed lightheartedness considering the other series ive read by the twisted series being depressing as hell 99% of the time😭😭 thank you RB for not breaking me so much🙏

and of course once again lionel pissed the hell out of me ugh that moment when there was a chance of him dying I WAS YELLING YES even tho i knew it wouldnt happen but it was SO CLOSE (blame the stars everyone). oh but the ZA references!!! there were so so many of them (seeing orion at the end depressed... man my heart broke for him) and i really do actually want to do a reread (or at least a reread of scenes featuring elise & co) and maybe hopefully (??) finish the series reading book 9 but we'll see where that goes!! i want more gabriel though🥹 (and seeing the rest of the gang and actually *recognizing* them this time!!)

the only reason this doesnt get a 5 star from me is because as much i laughed, swooned, and had fun there wasnt that same *spark* i felt like when i read book 3 & 4 (at like ~900 pages, it was kind of too long tbh but i mean i did live for all their scenes), but otherwise!! truly such a satisfying finale and im glad we got to see glimpses of the gang's futures with their children in the epilogue(view spoiler)[(when they won against zodiac !!! also ryder being a stay at home husband is so real LOL) (hide spoiler)], they were too wholesome omg. ill miss these guys <3
