๐Ÿฐ ๐ŸŒŸ!!! I went into this book with zero expectations, but it turned out to be a delightful and unexpected read!The story revolves around Evie, a character who quickly stole my heart. Evieโ€™s transformation into a badass was both empowering and entertaining, and I couldnโ€™t help but root for her every step of the way. Sheโ€™s a sweetheart with a fierce streak, and I absolutely loved watching her come into her own. Alexa, play "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me" by Taylor Swift โ€� because that's the vibe Evie gives off in the book!!๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿผ

Then there's Trystanโ€� Trystan๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿคญ (cue my fangirling). Heโ€™s so soft for Evie, and watching him fall for her was such a treat. The possessive, jealous side of him had me screaming, giggling, and kicking my feet in the airโ€”honestly, I was living for it. He's completely down bad for her in the best way possible, and Iโ€™m not even joking when I say I need a guy like him.The tension and angst between him and Evie were chefโ€™s kiss๐ŸคŒ๐Ÿปโ€”that kept me hooked and I was living for every second of it. I need a Trystan in my life, no joke. Heโ€™s so babygirl coded in the best way that I didn't know I needed, and I was all for it๐Ÿฅฐโ™ฅ๏ธ.

The side characters also added so much to the story. Trystanโ€™s bond with Lyssa was a personal favorite; it was adorable to see them connect and bond each other. The found family aspect in this book was heartwarming and emotional. I loved watching the bond between Trystan and Lyssaโ€”such a sweet and adorable dynamic. Becky and Blade are so cute together, and Iโ€™m dying to see their story unfold in the next book. Kingsley is such a cutie, and Clare and Tatianna were such sweethearts who definitely deserve all the love. Each character added something special to the story, and Iโ€™m already invested in seeing more of them๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿค.

The writing style was spot-onโ€”flowed so well and kept me reading late into the night. The humor in this book is unmatched, and there were so many moments that had me cackling out loud. It wasnโ€™t all lighthearted, though; there were emotional scenes that had me tearing up as well. The balance between humor, sweetness, and emotional depth was perfect.The ending?! It was definitely unexpected, and Iโ€™m dying to read the third book to see where things go.Overall, this book was a fun, emotional, and addictive read and it's definitely worth the read.
