Red (House of Misfits #5)

It's always the quiet ones isn't it? Beau was nothing like I expected but my guess was that was 100% intentional by the author because she knew what she was doing. I've seen people bitchin about how he was sooo diferent in his book but that's exactly the point! He had to hide himself for 5 years, he had to supress his feelings, what did you expect, for everything to just be ok with him?
Beau had a quiet sensibility that I feel got justice in this book. He was actually a very complex character and I, never once, as a reader, thought he didn't everything from his family of misfits. The sense of found family is honestly the best thing about this series because each book, it kept growing. A buch of people from diferent backgrounds and tax brackets got together and created something unique and precious.
Beau and Daeshim were a thunderstorm. I will miss this series and this bunch of misfits. Cambria did good.
