This was so freaking bad, it was nonsensical. I really don't get the hype with this author. This protagonist drove me nuts.

The only thriller of hers that is good is Never Lie, everting else feels kind of amateur :/
agree! I think her hype is for readers who typically don't read this genre and her books are like trashy reality tv shows- popcorn entertainment that's easy to digest.
I haven't been able to read one full novel of hers besides The Housemaid....I'm officially done trying. I don't understand the hype with her either!
Doesn't this author basically steal and plagiarize literal plot points from other books? As well as recycles the same character descriptions?
