#Fam: A Ten Years Later Novella (Hashtag Series Book 9)

Reuniting with the Hashtag series crew in #Fam felt like a heartwarming trip down memory lane. It’s been ten years since Romeo fell for Rimmel in #Nerd, and stepping back into their world brought an instant wave of nostalgia and joy. If you’ve ever missed characters so much they feel like family, then this novella is the ultimate gift.
In #Fam, Cambria Hebert treats her readers to an inside look at life a decade later—through the laughter, the love, the chaos, and, of course, a dash of drama. Romeo and Rimmel are just as swoon-worthy as ever, with Romeo’s protective alpha charm and Rimmel’s quirky, lovable #nerd vibes. The chemistry they share hasn’t faded one bit, and seeing their relationship evolve with kids and family life was incredibly satisfying.
But the fun doesn’t stop there. Braeden and Ivy, Trent and Drew, and the rest of the crew are back too, each bringing their signature flair and humor. The bromance between Romeo and Braeden had me laughing out loud, while the heartfelt moments within this found family left me teary-eyed. And let’s not forget the next generation—the kids! Watching these mini versions of our favorite characters add their antics to the mix was pure delight.
Cambria masterfully weaves in all the elements that made the Hashtag series unforgettable—friendship, love, humor, and just the right amount of drama. At its core, #Fam is a love letter to the fans who’ve adored these characters from the very beginning. Reading this novella was like curling up with a warm blanket, catching up with old friends, and remembering exactly why this series holds such a special place in my heart.
If you’re a fan of epilogues and love getting a glimpse into “what happens next, this is the perfect continuation of a beloved story. And while #Fam might be considered the final chapter in the Hashtag series, it leaves you with all the feels and the ultimate reminder: family is forever.
For those new to the series, I highly recommend starting from the beginning (#Nerd is where it all begins!). For long-time fans, this novella is a heartfelt and satisfying revisit to a world we never wanted to leave.
