Honestly, I loved this book. I received it in the mail and had it read before bedtime. There was so much of the things that happened in the book that I did not expect, and that unpredictability made it addicting to me. Its also an emotional roller coaster of tragedy, love, and understanding. Its open minded, funny, and entertaining. It relates to me through the mentions of things love such as other book series, music, and simply through the thoughts of the Iris. The fact that it involves aliens just sets it completely apart. It definitely is not like any other alien book I have read in a very good way. It had me captivated through every moment of happiness and every moment where you feel like the bottom has fallen out. It left me wanting more.
