There isn't much I can say about this book that hasn't already been said here or elsewhere, and probably better. I will say that I caved and read this because a former friend of mine insisted that the book was way better than the movie.
She was wrong.
I will actually venture to say that the movie was superior because we didn't have to live in Bella's head through it. In fact, I spent the entire book envious of Edward because her's were the only thoughts he couldn't hear. Lucky bastard. Happy to tell him that he isn't exactly missing much.
At least the movie provided us with a handful of hilarious gifs.

"Where did Charlie suddenly get the idea that Bella was going to sneak out? So much so that he detached her battery cables?
