Considering how big of a chaos was my 2024 irl (both in good and bad way) reading year was pretty good with only small slumps and I’m pretty happy with both quantity and quality of books I read.
I returned to good habit of reading outdoors and it’s something I plan do try and do more in 2025. Just chill and read in nature and not look at number of kilometers or tempo.
One thing I don’t like is that I kept library books past return date several times. In fact at the moment I’m writing this I have library book past return date on me. So That is bad habit I look to eradicate.
Favorite books/series I read in 2024, in chronological order:
Salvation sequence � Peter F Hamilton
The emperor’s blades � Brian Staveley
The House of the Spirits � Isabel Allende
The bell jar � Sylvia Plath
Hurricane Season � Fernanda Melchor
Under Heaven � Guy Gavriel Kay
House of Suns � Alistair Raynolds
Inherent vice � Thomas Pynchon
Favorite mangas/comics
Vagabond: This one I started in 2024 but I haven’t finished it yet
Berserk: This I started in 2023 but I read majority and fished it in 2024

The open air reading is a good idea. Also, I should finally get to Hamilton and raynolds. Happy New Year!

I actually had rough start with Raynolds but once I really started getting into him he became one of my favorite authors. Hamilton is become one too but you have to like slow burn books because he doesn't get anywhere fast.

Thanks. I will try cleared cache and cookies and browsers so hopefully I will get them more consistently now.
