☘️ A wonderful Irish story for St. Paddy's Day ☘️
Victoria and Rosie meet as young children. Lady Victoria is an Earl's daughter from the, "big house" and Rosie's father is a land tenant. They meet by accident and then Rosie is summoned to the manor to take school lessons with Victoria and they become firm friends until one day Victoria must leave. It's time for, "the season" and Rosie cannot go. We then follow both girls lives over many years.
The story is told in 5 parts from 1906 until WW I. The School Days, Separation, Dublin, Rebellion and finally The Girls of Ennismore Homecoming.
The story is filled with rich Irish history. Both girls go through some hardships but will their friendship prevail? I enjoyed it a lot! 💚
