this was entertaining for sure! i did think the fmc was a little stupid sometimes - she'd overhear secret convos (that kinda spelled out exactly what was happening...) or receive a book that ALSO explained everything, but then she'd just forget about the convo, or not follow it up, or not read further in the book? girl stop pissing me off. even once she started connecting some dots, she was still acting a little too dumb for my liking. also she brushed over her entire family's death reallll fast.

but other than that, this was addictive, highly amusing trash, and the characters were fun. plus some of the plot concepts were pretty interesting! now i await book 2...
