What can one write about this timeless book, core to the bengali literature, and subsequently the cinemas. That it took me so many years on finding this and reading this is a shame. The book had a chokehold on me that I can't even explain. It's a classic and for a reason. 10/10 would recommend every one who can read bangla to read this. Onto Pather panchali now.
