A Cinderella-inspired fractured fairy tale with a RH twist. Stasi (short for Anastasia, not the Cold War era East German secret police) is the "ugly stepsister" publicly reviled for enslaving her stepsister Ella. Now she's been sentenced to twenty years of house arrest, working as the servant of the Tate brothers (not those Tates), three brothers who have a ten-year-old bone to pick with Stasi. Cue cruel mistreatment and stoic suffering! Because, you see, Stasi is innocent and it was Ella who enslaved her.

I liked that it was a single-volume RH with a reasonable number of men (I think more than three would be too much for a single vol), and that all the guys had POV chapters. I also love it when the big strong most Alpha guy (view spoiler) Oooh, I love that. Stasi also has a shutdown "BSOD" moment, and I always enjoy that kind of drama.

But the ending felt rushed to me. I wanted more time and on-screen comeuppance for the baddie. And if all Stasi had to do (view spoiler) The virus plotline seemed unnecessary. And then all of a sudden it's "one year later" time. Too quick!
