A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1)

Was I nervous to start reading one of the most popular romantasy series of all time? Yes, obviously, but it was worth it because I really enjoyed it. "A Court of Thorns and Roses" is a great book that deserves all the hype surrounding it and, honestly, if this is everyone's least favorite, I have no doubt that I will have a lot of fun with the next ones.
I have to say that although I always felt hooked by the story, it was only after 75% of it that it seemed impossible to put the book down. I was flying through the pages and couldn't stop until I reached the end. Speaking of which, all the twists and turns that came towards the end had me on the edge of my seat, because with each trial Ferye was subjected to, I feared it would be her last.
Sarah J. Maas knows exactly how to tell a story that captivates its readers with a charming, beautiful and detailed writing style. The focus on small details sometimes feels overdone, but then it all comes together smoothly. It's incredibly rewarding to read.
She just knows how to infuse magic into every word she writes and we can only praise the world, the politics, the romance and the characters she created. While I like some characters more than others, the truth is that they all have immense potential to make me fall in love with them even more as the series progresses. However, besides Ferye, there are three that especially stood out to me: Rhysand, Lucien and Nesta.
~ "I didn’t want you to fight alone. Or die alone." ~
To everyone who wants to read this book, take this review as a sign and I recommend that you do so while listening to the graphic audiobook. The book was so good that I couldn't contain myself and immediately bought the second one. You know what that means, right? So let's go ... I need some answers.
~ "Be glad of your human heart, Feyre. Pity those who don’t feel anything at all." ~

the ending was incredible! I can't wait to see where the story goes 🥰

I've already started 🙈

you were so right... I shouldn't have picked up this series! oops 😅 but I've been reading in a controlled way, I swear!

Please, you have to continue with the series, because I'm already on the third book and I'm afraid my obsession is growing more and more 💗
