no one is more shocked than me to be giving a book in this series such a high rating but Santi and Chloe’s romance was everything and just so.. BEAUTIFUL. i had no idea about Santi’s accident before this as i havent heard it mentioned and i already knew from the first chapter that this would be more of an emotional story. Chloe is such a bright light �� in general and for Santi, i could see why he fell in love with her throughout it all.

“I do want to fight for myself. That’s the point. And you’re not a crutch. You’re part of the foundation to help me get where I want to be.��

there was so much tenderness in the way she pushed his boundaries and fully supported him, without allowing him to get wrapped up in what he could do for her cause all she wanted was for him to realize that he had to make these changes for himself, in order to move on and accept this new version of his life in a way that bettered him instead of hindering his potential and chance at happiness. i loved that Chloe made Santi wait until they both knew he was truly ready to be with her completely as he is now before sleeping together, it built a strong foundation and level of intimacy that was amazing to see. Santi is the sweetest man, so considerate of Chloe and her feelings�� even the third act was resolved quickly due to a high level on maturity on both ends despite their raging emotions in that moment. i loved seeing him carve his own path to redemption and being the man he wanted to be again. they really did feel like soulmates who were always meant to cross paths. i loved this so much seriously.
