A book about the value of a family gardening and watching it grow as you grow. A granddaughter and grandfather garden together. He loves orchids and she loves peonies. Sometimes, she felt he loved the garden more than her, but that was fleeting.

It’s also about the seasons of life. As she got older, he did too and eventually he had to downsize and move into an apartment with a few potted plants. Then her daughter learned to garden.

A lovely representation of the seasons of life we go through with a garden to show us the way. I admit, I love stuff like this. Gardens are special and it connects us to the seasonal flow

The artwork is lovely. It’s pencil and colored digitally. The plants are beautiful and the garden space is rich with life and love. I think ti’s very well done.

Kids interested in gardening will enjoy this book..
