This author goes hot and cold with me.
This book left me cold.
WHY?
1) The publisher's blurb was inaccurate.
This was a ghost story and not a thriller.
2) The book's pacing was slow and the repetitious text was plentiful.
3) The narrators identifying themselves as "Brother" and "Sister" were annoying. I would have preferred proper names.
4) I easily guessed who killed the sister's brother.
I listened to the audiobook read by Megan Tusing and Steve Quinn.
Both narrators gave superb performances.

"This was a ghost story and not a thriller."That would really tick me off, Jayne! I hate untrustworthy blurbs. I never read/listen to 'ghost' stories, but 'thrillers' are my personal cup of tea!
