#Fam: A Ten Years Later Novella (Hashtag Series Book 9)

10 years after #Nerd and I’m STILL head over heels in love with the Hashtag series! #Fam was everything I hoped for and more—it felt like reuniting with old friends, and I honestly couldn’t get enough of it. It’s been a decade since Romeo and Rimmel captured our hearts in #Nerd, and diving back into their world? Pure magic. The instant wave of nostalgia and joy I felt was the perfect reminder of why I’ve been obsessed with this series for so long.
But it’s not just about Romeo and Rimmel. Oh no, we’ve got the whole crew back! Braeden and Ivy, Trent and Drew—their humor, their chemistry, their banter—it’s all here. And can we talk about the bromance between Romeo and Braeden? I was laughing out loud in practically every chapter. These guys still have the best dynamic, and I absolutely loved every second of it. And then, there’s the emotional side. The heartfelt moments between these characters—this found family—hit me right in the feels. I won’t lie, there were a few teary-eyed moments in the mix.
But wait, there's more the KIDS! Watching the next generation of mini-Rimmels and mini-Romeos running around, causing their own brand of chaos, was an absolute delight. It was like seeing the characters I love so much pass on their quirks to the next generation, and it was everything I didn’t know I needed.
Of course, there’s always a bit of drama to keep things interesting, but I won’t spoil the details. All I’ll say is, this finale was perfection. The drama, the love, the moments of growth—it all tied together beautifully. As a long-time fan, it was the kind of ending I didn’t even know I was craving, but I’m SO glad I got it.
One thing to note: #Fam isn’t a standalone. If you haven’t read the entire Hashtag series yet, now’s the time! (And yes, even Holiday, if you skipped it). Also, keep an eye out for some familiar faces from the GearShark series. Looks like I’ll be diving into that one next!
If you’ve been following Rimmel and Romeo’s love story all along, you won’t want to miss this one. And if you haven’t read the series yet, get ready to fall in love with these messy, hilarious, and totally lovable characters. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
