This started off pretty good. It stayed lukewarm for a while, but I wasn’t too fussed by it. I was then hit with boredom, which turned into shit?
The drama? Unnecessary, my god. 🙄
The kink element? Needed depth and work.
The romance? Needed even more depth and work.
I enjoyed the swimming aspect and seeing Scarlett overcome her struggles and the therapy elements. But they didn’t save the story for me.
I was so intrigued at first. But by the end, I was beyond underwhelmed.

Frankly, I have been unable to take her seriously after she revealed that she needed hand holding from her agent to learn how to structure a novel because she only knows how to write fanfic. Even after her help, her books remain 🥴. How do you get worse after getting the cheat sheet?
