okay, this book was definitely better than the first one, but i still think the writing style is too simple. if it were longer and deeper -and if the author's perspective were more humanitarian- this series could have been one of my favorites. but as it is, i can only say that it was enjoyable and engaging.

also, i realized that i am starting to feel more connected to the characters. sometimes, their reactions to events made me smile. i think my favorite hallucination is Tobias so far.
