🎶 Flashing lights and we. Took a wrong turn and we. Fell down a rabbit hole 🎶

The truth had always burned brightly within Bex (h), a gut feeling that screamed the identity of the person responsible for the destruction of the Flash Clan. But no matter how strong the conviction, she lacked the proof to expose him for the mastermind behind the attack and massacre. With the support of her mates, she embarks on a dangerous journey into the rogue lands, hoping to uncover the truth that has haunted her.

─── 。゚: THOUGHTS*. .*:☆゚. ───

“I know what you need, cupcake. He suddenly pulled his fingers from my center and licked them, making me moan at the sight alone. “But if you’re going to come, it’s going to be on my lips.

This whole book was just Bexley running around trying to figure out what happened to her parents, and Linen being at the center of it all, but it got so repetitive/ She was all over the place, chasing after Rebecca like she was the only key to unlocking her memories, and honestly? I was just waiting for something exciting to happen. And Gage with the “cupcake nicknameif he called her that one more time, I was ready to lose it. Like, we get it, she likes food and cupcakes, but come on! 🧁 That was all I could really take away from it. Just…ugh.

“It’s because it smells like your cum in here, Gage explained, chuckling. “His dragon lost it, wanting to mark you—and then that happened.

Gage, Jagger, and Breaker being obsessed with her? Sure, fine, but the dialogue is so bad. Every time they open their mouths, I just end up rolling my eyes. The possessiveness makes sense, since they’re dragons, but the way they talk about her just doesn't match the level of coolness their dragons should have. It's like they think they’re being all intense and swoon-worthy, but it just gives me secondhand embarrassment. It’s hard to care about the romance when the writing doesn’t even make it feel believable or, honestly, fun.

“As for the rest of you, take this as a warning. Trust us or not, we keep our word, and anyone who questions it or threatens to take Bexley’s lands from her will end up in far worse shape than Linan is in now.

At this point, the plot just isn’t pulling me in anymore, and honestly, if I’m already on book 3 and it’s lost its grip, I can’t really blame myself for feeling this way. When the story isn’t holding my interest and it feels like it’s dragging without enough payoff, it’s hard to stay motivated to finish, especially when I don’t even care about how it ends. If I’m not invested in her finding her parents or figuring out what happened, then it’s probably not worth pushing through.

─── 。゚: OVERALL*. .*:☆゚. ───

I’m honestly so disappointed because I love dragons and mates, but this one just went off—even for me, and I’m all about those silly little romance books. It had so much potential, but it just didn’t hit the mark.
