did not like it

I'm still trying to figure out why a psychiatrist thought this was a good book to give a deeply depressed 12-year-old.

message 1: by Bettie (new) - added it

Bettie Don't think I have the stomach to ask for full details, I'll just take on board your very laudable opinion.

message 2: by Nils (new)

Nils Montan LOL. You are so right!

message 3: by Chinook (new)

Chinook I am going to add to my "gratitude journal" that I've not been required to read this book.

Bravo! Bravo!

William Perrin The whole book yells right in your face, "Kid's being spanked - rich white man's fault" And what was up with mommy's teet? Do kids really need those until they become the "Adult" or "Parent" or which ever Harris smoked enough weed to confuse with one another in the next chapter? Social injustices - the rich white man's fault - fight the power and women united against the horrible white man. rotfl........ liberals love it, but I hated it and still hate it.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads William - I'm a liberal, actually, and I hated this.

Zukiswa I would think perhaps for the child to understand precisely what is going on in his/her life...to be able to deal with the motions, confusion maybe understand what maybe the cause.
