I've been seeing 'Make room for love' on so many book rec lists and I finally made time to read this indie queer romance gem featuring a South Asian trans woman and an Asian butch lesbian who become roommates and eventually more. Unexpected bonus points that a lot of the book deals with fighting for unions and worker's rights. The romance is a slow burn but it works for the characters who are recovering from a toxic ex and grieving the death of a sister respectively. There's great communication, spicy moments and some great food. Highly recommended, especially for the Trans Rights Readathon!
