From the first to last page I was completely caught up in this haunting, bizarre, deadly story.
Imagine a being that can steal your vitality, living beyond a normal human lifespan, devastating families and friends as this creature preys on their loved ones.
I loved the narrative that flowed so smoothly between past and present. The different characters, their interactions with this entity, and the vibrant settings. From the badlands of the USA, to the bamboo forests of Japan, and everywhere in between, there’s an incredibly woven tale that will horrify and enthral readers.
