I've read this, but couldn't decide on the rating. This story made me angry, and I was still angry when I finished it. 😅

Oh god, yeah. Not safe for you at all! I’m so sorry you had to go through this. Honestly? It moved me deeply when I read it last year but I fear I’ve grown soft since then and couldn’t stomach the story now either 🙈 sending hugs!! 🫂

I tried to read it ages ago, just remembering to add it to my Read list, but, very much two people "in love" but dating others the entire book till near the end. Not for me.

YES. That. I tried ages ago, just adding it to my list to recall that I couldn't read it, 'cause I see people picking it up now--I always loved the cover, but, the innards just weren't for me, alas!

It's an old hurt. I was reading all Anyta Sunday a while ago and thought this would be another good one for me, and...it was very different from her other work, and very, VERY, as you know...not safe for me. Just adding it now to remember--people seem to be reading it now and it's cropped up a few times.

There are SO many books I read years ago before I started actually leaving reviews/listing them, so...every once in a while I need to add an old friend, or, in this case...enemy. 🙃

I....TRIED! a few years back. Mainly just a reminder to Self that no, despite the lovely intriguing cover, this one I....cannot.

Though I do plan to get to some of my Evelyn pre-warneds soon! OH, and, I'm reading the doofus Joey and Scratch book (youcouldmakealife) right now, freakin' LOVE THEM. 😂🥰
