it was amazing
bookshelves: young-adult, sci-fi, goodreads-author, favorites, series, re-read, 2000s, adrenaline, own, multiple, read-2010, good-sized

This book is one of the most thrilling and addictive books I've ever read! The incredibly paced plot and the abundant twists and turns made it nearly impossible to put down. Don't be intimidated by the length, it reads very quickly, and you'll be wishing for more by the end. I do have a couple complaints though, that I'm willing to ignore in order to give this book 5 stars. The characters are all very young, so don't expect the most challenging dialogue, and don't expect closure at all from the ending. The novel was also unexpectedly thought provoking. You'll ask yourself many questions, such as "what side would I be on?" "what role would I play?", and the best question, "what superpower would I get?" I vastly recommend this novel to all, and I hope you'll read it.

Arlene It's a trilogy right?

oliviasbooks Yes, but you can also just read the first volume - like me - without feeling deprived of a proper ending.

Morgan F It's more than a trilogy. I think they are planning eight books.

Arlene Eight books!? Wow They've got a ways to go.

Morgan F Or maybe it's six? I don't know. Something like that.

I will buy them just the same.
I am what marketers hope for.

~Tina~ Great reviews on these books hun!
These books are FANTASTIC!!! So real, toooo real, I'm not sure if I want to continue them. I love them, really, but DAME do they give me the chills! LOL

Nic Great review, this is one of those books that I keep picking up and putting back down but your review has got me interested :)

message 8: by Arlene (new)

Arlene @ Morgan... you and me both. I fall for this stuff all the time. As much as I say "no more unfinished series" I still read them and love them. :)

Morgan F At least this series has an end planned out already.

Some series just keep going on blind. Then I feel like I'm wasting my time.

Kim I tried reading this but after a week I still hadn't read a single word so I put it on my to read list again. I'll give it another try soon, your review sounds good.

Morgan F It's funny thing that this review is getting votes. I wrote it a year or so ago on another site. I copy and pasted it onto this one a few months ago. I was thinking of re-writing it because I felt it was horrible, but I was too lazy.

Kim Never underestimate the power of your so-called laziness.

Morgan F If laziness was a super-power, I would be superman.

Cassie I love your llama picture.

Maddie This was a disgusting book, but a good one. 4 out of 5 stars.
