How to Fall in Love

This was my first go with a Cecilia Ahern novel and I feel like writing Cecilia a heart-felt letter of thanks for writing this book. I don't even know where to start except to say I hope to see this on the silver screen soon (I would also be happy to make suggestions on the casting :)) It needs to be a movie.
I had no problems with the book... Nicely paced and she never draws out a scene and make it longer than it needs to be. The characters are relatable and so easy to fall in love with.
I read some of the other reviews and I remember there being a few issues with the plot (it not being realistic enough). In my opinion, this is fiction. If it seems too real it would fail completely. And about loose ends (I am reffering to scene with two "Eastern European" men) to me it tied in perfectly with the rest of the book. They were doing something random and then happened upon something random and dangerous... Just as random as finding someone stood upon a bridge ready to jump. Such is the wonder of life
Sadly We live in a time where people need grand romantic gestures of love, but living in a world full of malice we easily forget to recognize such things. We forget about the silly things, thinking we need to break out a million candles and spend a fortune on elaborate meals and exquisite jewelery when, in fact, all we need is love... And maybe a lily pad.

"See, this is what I don't understand about love. People are so willing to love throughout the good times, but when you're going through a rough patch, they can't help you through it. That's not true love. True love will drag you through your tough times. I everything falls apart we need that love to fall back on and to validate that this will pass and good times will return"
