Another fabulous book from Nalini Singh. Singh has such a way with words. Each scene with Elena and Raphael together stole my heart. What a great second book in the Guild Hunter series. We have to wait until 2011 for the next one.
***SPOILERS***
These were some of my favorite quotes:
Pg: 238 Raphael "She's more important to me than all of you. Don't forget that."
Pg. 274 Elena to Raphael:
"But you, you've always been the rain, the wind, inside my mind. I taste you when I sleep, when I wake, when I breathe."
Pg. 277 Raphael's thoughts to Elena:
"…I couldn't let you leave me."
I know there are plenty more. I just can't find them all! Loved it!

Going to start this one tomorrow. I'd love to wait until the weekend so I can really dive into it but don't know what the weekend will bring so I'm going to get a head start. I hope I can get through the work days of Thursday and Friday! :-)

Lynsey, what great quotes. I got shivers when he told his men that she was more important. I loved that. Hmm, I think I need to find time to reread this. I get so much more out of these books the second time around!
I need to get to this one! I am going to reread the first one before getting to this so I have the story fresh in my mind.Glad to see you enjoyed it! I love Nalini Singh's writing so I am sure I will like this one too.

Thanks, Norma! This one had so many good lines in it. I felt my heart melt each time Raphael said something or thought something loving about Elena. Oh yes, when he said she was more important than his men. *sigh* Total shivers for me too!
MelissaB, I did enjoy it. Nalini Singh is a wonderful writer. She does such a great job of bringing these different worlds to us and her depth of emotion in her characters.
I wish I'd re-read the first one before reading this so it was fresh in my mind. However, there was some refresher so it helped a bit.
Ally,Hey, for some reason I missed your comment! Thanks! I really did love this book. Raphael and Elena are definitely one of my favorite couples.
