(B+) 77% | Good
Notes: As before, the dust jacket hook is incidental and fleeting, purely a gateway and device to a less compelling main plot.

I'm happy to hear that Jackie! I enjoy him quite a lot as well :)

Thanks, Oishi! I do already own both "Sandman" and "Stalker," so it's just a matter of getting to them or being in the mood to read them. I'll have to move them up my TBR :)
Doesn't sound like the most positive endorsement. Sorry if this sounds critical, but I'm sorta confused with your ratings. Is this a series you would recommend?

Thanks!
Thanks!

No worries, I always welcome the chance to clarify things. For me a three-star rating means I can in good conscience recommend it to the right person, even if it wasn't for me. A four-star book means it's a definite recommend. So, a B+ is right in the middle: between maybe and definitely recommendable. So, if you’re the type who enjoys Nordic noir or detective mysteries in general, then I’d certainly recommend it. Hope that clarifies things.
