it was amazing

I thought this book was one for the classic shelf! It was a little hard for me to get into. At first, Smithy annoyed me, but as he discovered himself, the reader got to learn who he really is and that the person he had become was simply the chrysalis before the butterfly. I loved this book and would recommend it to all my friends!

Cindee Bowen I'm glad you liked this one! I only save the books I really adore, and this one is on my shelf :).

Cindee Bowen On a funny note, we are moving in the next few weeks, and so far the majority of the packed boxes are marked "Cindee's books". Ha ha.

Arnie I try hard not to buy books - mostly because I read up to 3 a week! But, I also make sure the librarians know what I like and what I don't. My books have been on the "I recommend" shelf quite a few times. It always makes me feel good.

Cindee Bowen I buy my books or share with a friend, I haven't been to a library in years. I have this weird thing about books, I love owning them, having them. I do get good deals by buying them on Amazon or at Half Price Books, or Goodwill. I generally only go with the hardcovers, or the nice bigger paperbacks. Then the ones that aren't "keepers" I resell on Amazon, so it's not too bad. I always say books are my one "vice" I spend money on, :).

Priscilla Just finished. Remarkable & unique. Be patient through the beginning. A quest through heartbreak, but humorous too. I wanted to underline some of Smithy's thoughts. Very American & feels authentic. Fiction, but as a reader you may know someone lost like Bethany.
