i have a few questions about the statement that you made about islam being based on science and logic.
why does allah over ride is directives? Things that are stated in an earlier period of writing are nullified by later revelations. Why was it necessary for mohammid to execute several hundred jews during the seventh century when, originaly, he was in medina he seemed to peacefully exist with jews and christians?
why did he also reveal to the people that it was ok to lie to those that are not muslim?

Where did u find it? Is your speech based on USA Media and "counter-terrorism"?

Read Quran and you will find out some true information about science.
Read history and check out that Mohammad (pbuh)only defended Islam, never attacked any nation.
Islam not allow lies, all what you said came from someone who allow it.

Mohammed didn't execute Jews, neither he ordered to kill them, the Jews didn't like that there was another religion in the area, and from an Arabic prophet, they were too racists to accept that somebody out of the Israeli race has received prophecy, anyway, the hundreds that your talking about were killed during war, and probably you know what war mean, it means two armies fighting, probably they are hundreds because they messed with the wrong people, people who insist on dying because they see paradise after death, unlike the Jews, they insist on living! (Although I'm not sure they were hundreds)

the only reason there was a battle between Jews and Muslims in the first place was because the Jews of khabar broke the treaty they signed with the Muslims....someone needs to read up on their history.....the battle of khandak, when the Imam Ali a.s killed marhab.

The Jews broke their promise. It's only natural that they fight the Jews. Do you have any idea what the people did to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his followers just for following Islam?

And you're not supposed to lie to anyone. Doesn't matter who it is. It's a sin. You clearly haven't read the Quran and the Hadith.

This question is very very strange!! Islam and prophet Mohammad allow to lie to those not muslims!!!

One thing I really LOVE about this book is that it really puts the fear and awe of God into your heart
and that has some serious benefits. I love the way they use the word torment for what is going to happen to people who ignore the warning . I love the way the prophets are called "warners " and when the people in hell " say " awww come on let us out of here give us another birth and this time we'll take the warning seriously and do good deeds our whole life " The lord or angles or whoever listens to them say "Were you not warned " ( I LOVE IT !!!!) Yeah so now Im WARNED I will suffer a "TERRIBLE TORMENT" if I don't straighten up and fly right . I also like the way they say " God is oft merciful ( I like the word OFT in lieu of always ) and I love how they keep saying Satan is after you to throw you into everlasting torment . HEY ! I need to hear this ! Its doing me good! Its making me perk up and slash the Satan to peices if he should come upon me as i mediate and start talking about cool porn websites . i mean really I have fear of God and this satan (who is the personification of everything that God will punish me for ) comes before me and starts saying how cool it would do this or that taboo online cause "nobody's gonna know " But right there the Quran jumps to my aid and says " God sees all and will send a terrible torment upon those who disobey his commands so I follow the Qurans advise and rush forward( like a jihad ) and kill Satan who is barring my God ward path and trying to make me take a porno detour and i slash that MF to bits and continue on my path back to God --so The Quran is exactly the kind of n book i need . and when ever it talks about killing the non believers and evil doers i just apply that to Satan and other evil spirits (lust , anger , greed ,infatuation with chicks in my path . With fear of gods torment in my heart I rush forward and cut those non believers and evil doers down . I meant is practical stuff and it works. So yeah i give Quran 5 stars. It rocks !!. It kicks ass !!!its clear strong no nonsense book about overcoming evil and staying on the right path. That s just what I need .

Then why don't scientists use it to learn new things about science??
