Talking about sensorial experiences...wow Himanshu, I could even envision the image of hair flapping around encompassing the wind! :)
Great image. I've read this gem several times. Many quotable passages. My last reading really brought home how S's enlightenment at the end of the novel is a bhakti realization.

Actually I kind of felt that the whole book was one giant quote. ;) Reading it at different interval of years would definitely bring out something new each time. It is that kind. I had put a pause to reading this months ago and never picked it up again. Now I have to. Those 3 sentences you write for the sake of a review perfectly capture your awe and appreciation.

I guess it somewhat depends upon the mood or recently read books or general mind frame for one to like it straight away. Do pick this up soon, it's a couple of hours of bliss. :)
