This is one of my favorite books of all time and to prove it, I named my dog Prufrock.
I wanted to put a picture of him here for you SO BAD that after stoically refusing for a million years, I finally opened a Flickr account so I upload my pix on GR.

I recently finished writing a paper on Prufrock and The Waste Land and the saddest thing about it was that I was limited to 3 pages. The number of gems sprinkled throughout the poems is incredible. I find it amazing how T. S. Eliot can capture the disparity of World War I in "The Waste Land" by focusing on the pain in trickled down to those left behind. Such a beautiful and impactful poem. The type you long to read time and time again.
