I loved the story when Anne Rice actually got past a huge review of what happened up to this point. I think it could have been done more quickly. I hadn't read Anne Rice in a while and thought this was very boring until the middle of the book. This book should have started in the jungle! Not my favorite in this series. I still love Tale of the body thief.
