Has everyone started Home by Toni Morrison? Here are my thoughts on this selections so far...
Two chapters in to home by Toni Morrison and already I'm swept away. The dialogue is easy and flowing. Morrison’s illustration of Frank, a disturbed Vietnam veteran, is simultaneously haunting and beautiful. As we read the descriptions of his nightmare and "daymares" we are soon struck with vivid pictures of the real life horrors of war. Mangled victims At other moments he becomes an artist painting bland landscapes with an unstable imagination.
There are many unanswered questions as the story continues to be revealed and we peel back the layers of this ripe tale.
What do you think? What do you like about the story and characters thus far?
Looking forward to discussing this read with everyone!

Actually, Frank was a Korean War veteran, not a Vietnam vet. I read the book and was rather disappointed with it.
