and the weigh in (view spoiler)[ Ugh! What gym still does that? I had a trainer for almost 2 years and she NEVER weighed me - especially in front of the whole gym. We didn't need the scale to see the difference.... (hide spoiler)]

I'm at work so barely read, but I love how it starts in the dedication. I feel for Annabel and how she is so insecure with herself due to her weight. I can totally identify with being with your trainer, not wanting to hear your weight or body fat, etc.

I love the name Tegan, very unique.

I'm wondering what part Tegan's brother might play in all this.

This book is so true to an overweight person's thought processes! I've been like Annabel where I'll step on the scale, get off, back on, and accept the lower weight. Lol I KNOW the mind of an overweight person on a diet! Lol

We STILL are having Internet problems! I'm MORE than frustrated! I can't read the spoilers or make them. Grrrr

Recently, I've found myself on a kick to where I've been watching The Biggest Loser. I caught an episode in the middle of the season and became hooked. After I read the synopsis about this book, it put me in the mind of it! I'm now definitely going to try to read it sometime!!

Trisha, I finished chapter 5. The scene where Annabell accidentally punched Tegan was so hilarious :) I am a bit sleepy now. I'll read more when I wake up.

I dislike Annabel's mother too. She's not supportive and it seems she only cares about appearances and what's on the outside. It's mothers like her who make overweight girls feel unworthy.

I loved the scene where Tegan calls Annabel "kick ass hot" and she can't handle it so halls off and gives h a black eye. He's only pressed but not mad! Lol Does he have the hots for her?

My students will be working on essays for Odyssey today, so I won't get in any reading time till after school around 3:30. You're gonna leave me in the dust! Lol
