I think your writing touches on bigger picture feelings and affects which hold me in rapture every time I read it. There is a simultaneous story being told and a larger meaning happening together, smoothly fluctuating from one into the other and back again. To me, you are a luminary as to what good writing should be. Thank you, for pouring out your spirit and your soul for others to read.

I already follow you on those, I wish you could have answered me.

Hello, Just a little note to say that your comment touched me, and fascinated also about fludity from inside that you notice in Paulo's writings. Beautiful expression. As a reader, it feels like an outpouring of love. Also would like to read your writings too. I love that Paulo writes to understand his soul. And that you recognize your uniqueness through writing!
There was a prayer shared in Paulo's Blog a while ago, and it helps with my doubts, perhaps it will also help you through: 'The Prayer That I Forgot',
'Lord, protect our doubts, because Doubt is a way of praying. It is Doubt that makes us grow because it forces us to look fearlessly at the many answers that exist to one question. And in order for this to be possible'
Thankyou for sharing, Love,
Jane

God bless you..

I would like to know how much of the practicies and concepts from the book Brida is reality or fiction. I mean, do Wicca practitioners pray to God, even Christ and to Virgin Mary like the book says? I don't know anything about Wicca, but the book impressed me,the details and concepts of life described are very similar to Christian morality. I would be deeply grateful if you would reply, I think I had preconceptions about this religion...and now I do not now what to think. I know it is just a novel, but even in a novel there can be real things.
Thank you.

i feel so keen to read all about u . you are a very inspiring author , and i wonder how do you get inspired? .. & i wanna to know more about your readings ?
thank you so much for this event and for every thing
:)

I am a Giver this year for World Book Night () and I chose your book, The Alchemist, to inspire non-readers to read! I will be giving out 20 copies and wondered if you have any words of advice to help people discover reading?
I also run a book club and we had The Alchemist as a selection last year, so I was very excited to be able to share this and hopefully add more readers to the world!
Thank you for your words!

I want to say thank you to Mr. Coelho as well as Margo for inviting to join in the group. I was unable to spend the entire day with you, but I did enjoy reading some of the other comments that people posted. Everyone is so insight!
My Mom loves your books as well Mr. Coelho

Oddly I don't seem to have any questions..........
Your books seem to provide a direct entry back to the worlds of God and Love when I have strayed a little.
At times, when the path seems to fade a little under my feet, I can pretty much guarantee that a re-listen* to one of your books will restore the colour to my life and the direct perception/felt-sense of the immaterial threads-fabric-cloak of my self in the world. Magic restored and re-membered.
*Gratitude*
* A preference for audiobooks at this time via Audible

Thank you for doing this.I admire your work and looking forward to more.My question is what are some of your favorite books and why?

Boa noite!
First, thank you for The Alchemist. Now, my question:
What did you base the philosophies of The Alchemist on? Did personal experiences make you discover the cosmic energy of the universe?
What can I do, aside from reading novels and listening to music, to feel whole, to feel like the universe sustains me; to follow the path that has been drawn for me? What if I don't find it? What if it's not what I want it to be?
A huge thank you for sharing this time with us, and great admiration for your wisdom and writings.

Mr. Paulo invited his books readers for discussions, so they came but he did not turn up. He should not invite in the first place. Felt let down :-(

I TOTALLY agree!!! :'(

Thank you so much for lovely words of praise, you recognized what i wanted to say,all is true you said;as i write i feel that the best way to say things is being true to yourself, and so you avoid 'empty phrases'.
I have a blog Stay Young, latest story is named Moon Saga,a series in fact, while previous ones should be proofread,in meantime it got more serious, think of my writing, page views by now exceeds 13,000 ,so i look at my writing more carefully now.I hope i shall be able to write a novel, have an idea about it,to see..

Thank you again for this group and Mr Coelho who joined us.

Thank you very much!:):)

Thank you very much!:):)"
You would be notified by goodreads if he responded to your question. He has not responded yet to quite a few of them, including mine. This is only the second time I have participated in a q & a with an author here but the first time, despite a large number of questions posed to the author, she did manage to respond to all of the questions and comments. Don't know if Mr. Coelho will or not. :)

Thank you very much!:):)"

Thank you so much for your reply, Theresa:) You really brought some light here, thanks:):)
So, should just wait for Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ to notify me, right? Mm...ok, will do that, since there`s no other option:)
Stay well, Theresa, and keep reading...:):)

Your books are the most excellent pieces of literature I've ever read. The staggering vocabulary, flowing plots are simply a delight to read. I would like to ask a question, one I'm extremely curious about. I wish to know, that are there any inspirational people or incidences behind the characters or event in your books? Are the events ever inspired by your own, personal experiences?
Thank You

You can read his responses under the question each person asked, IF he bothered to respond. He did not for quite a lot of them. I know which author I will NOT be reading again. :)

I agree - disappointing! Will not be reading anything else he writes.

what I did was typing 'Paulo' on the box that says search discussion posts. You'll find some of his answers if you scroll down a bit. I don't know if there's an easier way to see all his answers though :s
